What’s Your Story?

Maybe you have an idea for a story— whether fiction or memoir—and don’t know where to begin. Or maybe you began writing but became discouraged and dropped the idea. Maybe you just need a nudge, some encouragement, a way forward. Instruction in craft will help move you along. This six-week workshop will focus on basic story-building elements: character development; scenes and backstory; beginnings and endings.

The classes will provide writing prompts, assigned readings, a supportive cast of fellow writers, and German chocolate.
