The Wesleyan Outing Club is a student run group, started in 1937. The Club’s headquarters are located at Outhouse, 132 High St. The Club offers a wide range of trips most weekends such as biking, hiking, canoeing, and rock climbing, and longer trips over breaks. Past trips have included winter camping in the White Mountains, biking to nearby Miller’s Pond, and hiking through New England forests near and far. Anyone can join us—absolutely no experience is necessary for most trips. While we receive some funding from Wesleyan University, those funds do not cover food budgets, nor certain equipment rental costs. Your funding ensures that our trips remain affordable and accessible for the entire student body.
