A Wing and a Prayer: Intro to wildlife rehabilitation

Join Christine Cummings and Kathy Grasso from A Place Called Hope—Raptor Rehabilitation and Education Center, to learn the necessary steps to becoming licensed as a Wildlife Rehabilitator in Connecticut to legally care for various wild native species. This class will include talks from invited licensed individuals who will cover specific categories such as mammals, Rabies Vector Species—foxes, raccoons, skunks, and bats—reptiles, amphibians, and birds. This course concludes with a private tour of A Place Called Hope (Killingworth) where you will meet live birds of prey. Hours may be used towards State DEEP certification.
